Morning Practices That Change Everything
How small choices transform your energy, mood, and creative flow
Every morning when I wake up, my body lets me know I'm not twenty anymore. There's the familiar groan, the stiffness, the quiet wish to stay curled up and avoid the day for a while. My body often says, "Let's just lie here... maybe we'll feel better later."
But I've learned something important: waiting to feel better rarely works. Choosing to do something that makes me feel better does.
So instead of sinking back into discomfort, I begin my practices gently, step by step. A few simple movements to wake the body. A grounding breath. The feeling of energy settling, rising, flowing. These aren't dramatic moments; they're small, steady choices. But the effect is real and reliable.
