Understanding These Changing Times

Recently, this question was asked: "is something spiritually shifting in the world right now?"

The questioner stated, "It's like the old way of living isn't working anymore, but the new way hasn't fully formed yet. Anyone else feeling this? Or am I just overthinking?"

No, you're not just overthinking. You're aware of what's going on and you're confused about what it could mean. And you're not alone. By far. This is affecting everyone on the planet.

There's no fence-sitting on this one. The choice must be made. What choice is that?

Mis-Identification

The main issue around what people are feeling is mis-identification. What does that mean? It means they're paying attention to, and practically solely focused on all those things that look dangerous and scary to the body. Most identify closely with the body, thinking "That's me. I am these arms and legs and head. That's all there is."

Really?

That's the problem. That is not true. We are so much more. That's a very small part of who we are. But the tendency is to focus on that small part and think that's all there is. Hence bringing on fear and anxiety as that is the job of the brain, which is to keep us alive. And it does a very good job at that. But it's a heck of a way to live life if that's all we focus on.

We're much more than the brain and body. At our core, we are something incredibly magnificent. And there! Don't you feel some part of you scoffing when I say you're magnificent? That's the part of you that has been running your life. And you're paying attention to it. And believing that's all there is. Not so.

One of the reasons for what is happening on Earth right now is to show us the parts of ourselves that live in fear. We see that our life is not what we want. So we try to find our way out of the anxieties and fear. And what do we find? Hopefully, we allow ourselves to calm down and observe everything about ourselves. In that process of observation, we can make a discovery. And that discovery is the most important thing needed on the planet right now.

Where Do Your Beliefs Come From?

Our reality is based upon what we've convinced ourself is the Real Truth. We live life from our beliefs. And our thoughts derive from our beliefs. And where do these beliefs come from? They were given to us by our parents, by our school, by our society. We accepted these because we didn't know anything else. We all formed our beliefs this way. And made an identification for ourselves based upon all these beliefs. And allowed that to be the definition of who we are. Our identification. "This is me."

Now, at this time, we're being urged to examine those beliefs and ask if they're true. And some may be, but are you going to stay forever in that part of you that has limited itself by these beliefs? Or are you going to examine yourself and ask if there's more.

Is there more? If you feel the slightest knowing that, of course there's more, then this is the time to start looking at yourself, and seeing if you can find more of what you are.

And that very desire, that very urge to see more, is what will bring the success that you urgently want. Because your real identification is so much more than you can grasp at this time, but part of you knows it's there. Part of you reads what I'm saying and is going, "Yes! Yes!" Go for that. It's your dream; it's what you've been wanting, forever and ever. And now's your chance.

Do you feel any of that? If so, it's real. That's you, trying to come forth and live from your true identity.

And that leads to the next question that you need to ask. How do you do that? How do you come back to your real self? Turns out that some of us have "been there, done that." And can share with you how to do just that.

It's not something strange or mystical or even out of the ordinary. It's just that your whole nervous system is based upon a mis-identification. And now you need ways to change that mis-identification and come back to what you truly want, and why you're here on the Earth, in the first place. It's not mysterious.

Keeping Your Inner Self Clean and Healthy

It's like this: you know how you engage in practices to keep your body clean and healthy? These are everyday things that you do. Because if you don't, the body starts feeling awful and yucky.

Well, the parts of you that you want to discover as awesome and meaningful, they need practices, too. Without these practices, your inner feelings can get awful and yucky, too. And that's what you're feeling as you wonder about the difficult things happening on the planet at this time.

You want to know more about what's happening? There is a part of you that knows it all, that has everything you need to understand the complete big picture and know that everything is alright. That's there's a big purpose for everything and it's amazing. But you cannot see that because of your limited focus that your brain gives you.

And what are these practices so that you can discover your inner being? And come to love and realize it's your true identification? After coming out of my own "dark night of the soul" and seeing the big picture, I decided to spend the last year putting together a way to share these practices that are so desperately needed in these times with others. It has been a joyful and inspirational year for me. You know the old saying, "We teach what we need to know." And wow, have I learned so much.
